Exciting updates from the Nile Basin sampling campaign: Our Egyptian partner AOYE has successfully completed the first Plastic Pirates samplings in Egypt! Publication on Citizen Science in Environmental Education
Spanish team published a new research article

New publication online! With their article “Changing Spanish preservice teachers' environmental attitudes with a citizen science program integrated in Environmental Education subject” the team from the University of Burgos has carried out educational research on the use of citizen science in the Environmental Education of preservice teachers. The Plastic Pirates – Go Europe! initiative is among the citizen science projects presented in the report.

Plastic Pirates - Go Europe! is a European CitizenScience campaign in which school classes and youth groups collect plastic samples at streams and rivers and document their results. The collected data is being analyzed by scientists.
